Teaching and Assessment
Teaching includes lectures, tutorials, workshops, group work and computer workshops, including the use of computer assisted learning packages. Assessment is by a mixture of coursework and examination.
Professional Recognition and Exemptions
All the major professional accountancy bodies within the UK accredit our degrees. Successful completion of levels 1, 2 and 3 of our Accountancy and Finance degree provides the maximum number of available exemptions from professional examinations of bodies including ICAS and ACCA. Our other degrees also carry considerable exemptions from these professional examinations.
Prizes and Scholarships
We have close links with the professional bodies and companies, such as ICAS and KPMG, who also donate prizes annually to our successful students.
Opportunities Abroad
Whilst not an integral part of any of the Accountancy and Finance degrees offered, there may be opportunities available to study abroad at an approved institution.
