Teaching and Assessment
Teaching involves a mix of lectures, tutorials and practical work. Assessment is by a combination of coursework and examination. The first two years are mainly examinations, with project assignments. By the final year, coursework assessment, principally through the design project and research dissertations, accounts for 50% of final assessment.
Professional Recognition and Exemptions
All programmes are recognised by the appropriate professional organisations, including the Chartered Institute of Building and the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
