The Scottish Borders Campus is located in the Borders town of Galashiels. The Dubai Campus is located in Dubai Academic City, 20 minutes from Dubai city centre. Heriot-Watt’s Edinburgh Campus Open Days are aimed at everyone interested in studying an undergraduate or postgraduate course at the University, as well as their parents, teachers and advisers. Staff and current students will be available throughout the days to answer questions on every aspect of life on our campus. Visitors will be able to tour the campus with current students and join academic department tours throughout the days, while a series of presentations will cover a wide range of topics of interest. Visitors will be able to find out about courses in the following areas: Built Environment, Engineering and Physical Sciences, Life Sciences, Mathematical and Computer Sciences, Management and Languages. Travelling to Campus: Heriot-Watt's Edinburgh Campus is located just off the A71, on the western outskirts of the City. The number 25 (Princes Street, Haymarket), 34 (Lothian Road, Fountain Park) and 45 (St Andrew's Square, The Mound) Lothian Buses serve the University. A full programme of activities will be available from this site nearer the date of the Open Days. Heriot-Watt’s Scottish Borders Campus Open Days are aimed at those interested in studying an undergraduate course at the University in the School of Textiles and Design or on the Borders Business Programme, as well their parents, teachers and advisors. Staff and current students will be available throughout both days to answer questions on every aspect of life on our Campus, while a series of tours and presentations will cover a wide range of topics of interest. Visitors to last year's Scottish Borders Campus Open Days made the following comments:
Travelling to Campus: Heriot-Watt’s Scottish Borders Campus is located in Galashiels on the A7 from Edinburgh, A72 from Glasgow and A68 (for A6091) from Newcastle. First Bus services run the number X95 from Edinburgh to Galashiels leaving from North Bridge. Those travelling from Glasgow should change in Edinburgh. Those travelling from the south can board the X95 at Carlisle. A full programme of activities will be available from this site nearer the date of the Open Days.
